How to Request Resident Refunds for Overpayments or Duplicate Payments

 

Go to Administration

 

 

Click on Other


Click on Miscellaneous Income Ledgers
 

 

Click on Show transactions


Check the box ‘Open Only’

 

Description reflects who the credit is/are for

 

Usually this means a charge needs to be added to their prospect ledger, or they are a duplicate prospect and we need to move the credit to their current ledger.


From the today page, click on Find Person


Search by Name

 

*Usually for Online Payments for example, these are applicants in the process of applying - Once they are applied to the unit, it will charge up the credit.  However, sometimes you'll run into a scenario where the applicant was denied, and you can charge up the credit on the prospect ledger.  Another example could be where the applicants applied on separate profiles and the credit from one profile needs to be moved to their 'leased' profile.
